MAJOR NEWS in the NLP Field:
After the extraordinary NLP Trainer Rex Steven Sikes left NLP in 2002 to pursue other dreams, we've all been worse off, for the past 10 years. It was our loss -- Rex was a gifted trainer, and was known for training deep skills and rich experiences.
If you missed out on getting to train with Rex... you've got a rare and unprecedented opportunity to develop your NLP skills with two extraordinary trainers.
We're going to keep this page as short & sweet as possible. For any serious NLP student... this is a dream opportunity. No other workshop this year is likely to compare.
Our message is pretty straightforward, so we're not going to sugar coat it or hype it up.
The field of NLP has been impoverished without Rex Steven Sikes around. He's been busy making films and doing other fascinating forms of entertainment and corporate presentations. NLP students haven't had this opportunity in more than 10 years!
If deep NLP skills are important to you... if you'd like to get a chance to train with the one NLP trainer that was continually consulted during the "OJ Simpson Murder Trial" by the news outlets, attorneys, and the "Defense Dream Team", then join us.
Rex and Jonathan share a belief that NLP certification courses ought to be a lot longer than 7 days, which seems to be the norm. Those short courses produce insufficient skills. Immersive courses make all the difference. So they decided to run a 12-day course this year together. You're going to get a LOT of time with both of them; both of them (and assistants) will be present in the training room together, the majority of the time.
Jonathan counts Rex as not only an amazing trainer, but as one of his strongest influences, so if you like Jonathan's style, you'll likely love Rex. If you've been to any of Jonathan's workshops, you'll certainly have heard Rex's name mentioned. Several of Jonathan's preferred exercise drills are credited to Rex's work.
Rex has watched for 15 years from a distance, keeping his eye on what NLP businesses were continuing to do good training work, continued to hear positive things about Jonathan's training work, and finally they got to work together in Orlando FL, in November 2012. Choosing Jonathan as his training partner after 10 years away... was an enormous compliment to the Mastery InSight Institute. (Thanks Rex!) And if you couldn't attend the November 2012 Orlando course, you'll have the opportunity AGAIN soon!
Extraordinary Results Await You:
You're in luck...
If you expect and desire to develop deep and effective skills, woven together as a tapestry of holistic skills you can use in parallel.
If you want to elevate above the typical "NLP formulas" or "theory" you've read about in books, and stop just talking about NLP, but actually begin doing it, even as early as day one of a training.
If you mistakenly thought NLP was a big set of single techniques to apply one at a time, and would like to step into a new you.
If you'd like to attend a training that is uplifting, joyful, fun, transformative -- as WELL as highly effective and educational!
If you're ready to shake up... your current lifestyle &/or business patterns and start creating new ones.
Rex's courses were always known for being upbeat, supportive, transformative, powerful, and subtle. Rex himself is warm, approachable, charismatic, fascinating himself, AND fascinated with you and what we can enjoy together.
Jonathan's courses are known for the pursuit of the effective artistry of NLP, seemingly casual and easygoing, yet profoundly impactful through subtle training and building of the undercurrents supporting growth and discovery. Jonathan himself is committed to helping each person overcome stuck habits and less-than-useful patterns, as well as building new possibilities and training the skills that will help anyone create an entire new future for themselves.
Here's what one of Rex & Jonathan's students wrote in December 2012, after taking their November Practitioner course!

Recently, on social media, an NLP Practitioner asked a question about a client who reported having a phobia, and with whom he used the NLP Fast Phobia Cure, which may have partly worked, but it came back a few days later?
As of September 2020, we're in the process of moving from Tampa, Florida, to the Youngstown Ohio area.
Currently, during the Coronavirus era, we're mostly focusing on Zoom-based Coaching, and aligning resources to run online courses.
Watch NLP Co-Founder Richard Bandler use NLP to eliminate Michael Strahan's phobic response to snakes -- in minutes (with Kelly Ripa bringing over a BIG snake at the end to test Michael's response). Spoiler alert: It worked ridiculously well.
No matter what skill you want to learn, no matter what fears or concerns or hesitation you may have, there are and will always be a wide range of approaches, to learning that skill. It's important to keep that in mind when making learning choices.
Many more famous people have been trained in Ericksonian (indirect) Hypnosis and NLP than you might guess. There are certainly far more who have strong interests here than have publically admitted so.
Out of the many seminars and trainings I've participated in over the years, Belief Craft tops them all. If you make the decision to take this course, you'll not only get everything you wanted, but also things you never imagined."
As someone relatively new to the subject of NLP I greatly appreciated the mix and range of experience available to me on the linguistic wizardry seminar. Knowledge sharing wasn't just encouraged by Jonathon, but expected as a pre-requisite to getting the most out of the course. As a result this added to the whole seminar experience from day one. Perhaps of greatest benefit to me was the way that Jonathon ensured that we learned as much during lunch breaks and evening conversations as we had learned during the day. By joining us Jonathon showed how the material could be usefully integrated in the real world - achieving shop discounts ethically, was another great bonus. During the course, the practical sessions and brain gym exercises were highly enjoyable - I've already used one or two as handy exercises to occupy the attention of boisterous nephews and nieces. It seems NLP really is 'child's play'. In general, I would like to have played around with more examples of 'state-chaining' through story telling. The Village Council sessions allowed me to see for myself how I'd benefited from the course. Personal benefits for me since the course have been in my professional and social interactions - for instance I now find it easier to model the behaviours of colleagues who have enviable influencing styles; I now see interactions as an opportunity to share stories in a more exciting way; and the quality of my presentations (and joke telling) have improved. For this I believe Jonathon should take some credit.
I attended Jonathan Altfeld's Irresistible Voice workshop about a year ago. I was extremely impressed at the time, but didn't want to post a review until I'd had a chance to experience the difference that it made in practice. [...] The starting point of the transformation was the use of various pieces of electronic amplification equipment. What this does is allow you to hear yourself as others hear you, in real time. ... Using the PA equipment is the first step to revealing our true voice. The result for me was a revelation - I have a good voice, but I'd just never heard it before. The workshop was interspersed with the opportunity to try out specific drills, a bit like circuit training, in groups of 2 or 3 people. Speaking to a rhythmic click track, speaking lying on the floor with books balanced on the belly, and a laptop with a speech analyser. All ways of generating feedback based on external indications, which we could then experiment with. For me, this was the magic of the workshop, the bringing to the surface of what was previously been hidden, where it could be experimented with. Another great feature of the workshop was the regular coaching by Jonathan, in front of the group. I wanted to be able to project my voice without shouting, so as to reach someone sitting 20 rows back. Jonathan made small adjustments to the way I held my head, a tilt of maybe half an inch or so, and the effect was noticeable and immediate. All of Jonathan's coaching and interventions were directed to specific outcomes that each person wanted. Shortly afterwards, I joined a public speaking club in order to be able to put into practice what I'd learned, speaking to groups of 30-40 people. The feedback I got right from the start was consistently that I have a great speaking voice, and that it was clear that I was an experienced speaker. I'd highly recommend this course.
Thanks for a wonderful & mind altering weekend - it was worth every single penny! [...] my brain just can't stop generating new ideas & solutions, identifying patterns, going through the huge pile of new information. [...] I still don't have a clue as to how you managed to get that much data into these few inches of my brain in such a short time!!! NLP seems to be much more effective & powerful than I ever dared to dream of.....
Business Life Coach, Creating InSight, United Kingdom
Attended Course : Knowledge Engineering
I am using your K.E. all the time with my Business Development Coaching. The first time was over the telephone with a client. She was in London and I was in Derby. She had a challenge with a customer and wanted a different way of handling him and a new project but was stuck. I explained the process started it off ... If Then Means ... faxed the start to her and then she picked up the process and by the end of the session we had worked it back and she had a better idea of what was involved and later that week emailed me with the news that she had sorted it all out. Another client was having trouble deciding on a similar situation but did not know why he was holding back on a new venture, especially as he had been made redundant and it uncovered huge amounts of stuff in his life that he hadn't told anybody before and now we are looking at that before he even considers the new business venture. Finally the last time was a client who wants to get out of a business investment, which then allowed us to take the result and work back with all the various scenarios on parallel Time Scales that showed what he needed to do, which he found extremely valuable. Along with Dilts' Logical Levels, visualization, Mind Mapping and EQ, K.E. has got to be one of the most useful things that I have learnt in the past four years. Many thanks.
The real topic of the seminar is modeling. Modeling is arguably the heart of NLP &, until now, a subject that has been pretty much opaque to me. No longer. Jonathan melds techniques from the world of computing with meta modeling to produce a solid methodical approach to the subject, which is uniquely his own. [...] We had a lot of fun, we learned a lot, & most important, what we learned was useful & obvious in its application. If you get a chance to attend one of these events, do it!
For me the true value of a course becomes apparent after the session itself. How many times have you been to a training course where you heard some interesting things, promised you would apply them and then found that after a couple of months - despite all your best intentions - most of those great things you had heard were forgotten? Well, this is a course that has made a difference to my every day life. My skill at communication (both listening and sharing) has greatly increased and the fantastic thing is that as a result of this course I am still learning new things every day! So what is different versus other courses? Well firstly Jonathan managed to find a way to make the content of the course really meaningful for me (and the interesting thing is he found a way to achieve this for each one of the course delegates without losing out on the overall aims of the course), and secondly the course provided a number of tools that facilitates ongoing exploration and learning. One example, my brother had a presentation to do and after he shared some of his planned content my husband and I made a number of suggestions and observations based in our learning from the course with Jonathan. My brother asked how we could be so insightful. We explained and immediately my brother decided to sign up for the course.
"Jonathan Altfeld is a highly skilled communicator and trainer whom it is an absolute pleasure to watch at work. He cultivates a learning environment which nurtures and develops the skills and abilities of everyone within the group, and created epic transformations."
People are now initiating conversations with me about trivial things just to hear my voice. For example, 'what kind of headset do I use with my cellphone?' Really, who asks people what kind of headset do they use?! A co-worker who ordinarily only talks to me only when she has to, asked me 'what time did I get off work and where do I live?' I won't say what happened after that! Results include: (1) My requests are happily granted and sometimes a little extra is thrown in for no reason. (2) I'm instantly diffusing tense and escalated situations. (3) I have increased acuity in my other senses. (4) A co-worker admitted to daydreaming while I was talking to her. One co-worker expressed a bit of jealousy because another co-worker now wants to talk to me more than they want to talk to them. If that's not irresistible, I don't know what is!! I'm usually reserved and speak only when spoken to, however, with these new techniques I find myself looking for opportunities to speak so I can practice and refine my skills. People join conversations I'm in, More people are expressing interest in my website when I use the Embedded Command technique, etc. This is just a small example, Jonathan. Keep up the good work!
